Striving to Love God, His Word, and His People.

At Sycamore Baptist Church, missions and service is something we encourage all our members to participate in. As you follow Jesus and grow in your love for God and others, you should be motivated to serve the world and reach the lost.

Outreach

Spreading the gospel is not an event or a team we are calling you to, rather it is a lifestyle. A lifestyle where you are living “on mission” as a missionary in your own community. We believe, if you do that — if you live as missionaries in your own community — then spreading the gospel and making disciples won’t be difficult because it is apart of the natural rhythm of your life.

Serve

To help you serve others, we want you to join one of our service teams. These teams will help you grow and follow Jesus in serving others, whether they are in our church or community.

Serve the Church

Nursery

We are always looking for volunteers in our nursery. Please see Laune Pitts if you are interested in serving in this area.

Media Booth

We need volunteers to help run the Media Booth during the service. If you would like to serve in this area, please see Mike Blankenship.

Men’s Work Group

The men in the church meet periodically to keep our facilities running and grounds looking nice. If you are interested in helping, please see Eddie Ray Griffeth.
